We have been talking about mailing a trip up there. About 8 hours for us.

Did you run any of the nearby trails?

Just the ORV dune area. If there are other trails, I will have to research and try that next time. It was 8 hours for us as well... with stops and fuel.

Recently moved to Michigan and am only only about 2.5 hours from Silver Lake. Looking forward to getting my Gen 1 out there this summer!

Living in Midland myself! I'll be keeping my eyes open for you - shouldn't be too hard to pick out from the crowd. Let me know if you're ever doing Raptor things. I've been looking for an excuse to put mine through it's paces.

camp qrayling always was a fun area. a lot of electric line paths and its where the national guard trains. a lot of tank paths. and hills, sand etc. all state land its been a while for me but I believe its all open on the weekends and dont get stuck and leave your rig there in the path of a tank. they love when that happens during training. Only rumors but wouldn't surprise me. I believe they supposedly opened up another 100 miles of offroad paths

It is a must if you are close... still can't believe how well the Raptor did. Such a blast to rip across the sand.
