Just got my 2020 back from a local shop in MA for a suspension overhaul & a few other items. My truck has 82k miles & 3 outta 4 OEM shocks were “buzzing” at startup & the ride was def starting to suffer…how bad I didn’t realize until I picked it up after all the work lol

4 rebuilt live valve shocks by shocks by Hammer w/ a schraeder valve added & SVC adjustable collars in front w/ deaver +3HD leafs in back, also replaced front swaybar endlinks w/ mevotech off rockauto, & some regular maintenance stuff - unfortunately including replacing a passenger side valve cover due to the notorious leak.

All I can say is that my truck feels brand new. I’ll take measurements, but I gained more than 1” of lift overall despite not trying to & that’s relative to my truck as it sat w/ 82k miles on it & blown shocks/leafs…I think it’s very close to 1” lift over where it sat when brand new….maybe closer to 1.5” but the stance is perfect.

I was on the fence w/ going w/ +3 vs +3HD or even +4HD deavers…I can say I have no idea why anyone wouldn’t go w/ +3HD if they were considering standard +3 or “+2” - there’s no reason, may as well get the +3HDs - they’re simply not that stiff. They remind me of running bilstein 5100 shocks on my GM trucks vs stock crap ranchos

All in all very happy w/ my decision to keep my 2020 & “upgrade”/refurbish it vs trading for a gen3 or RHO

I own it outright & obviusly spent some $$$ w/ this work, but I have very little interest in unnecessary tech/expense & prefer function over form & reliable mechanical stuff.

Would recommend shocks by hammer to anyone
