Just picked up my truck and still learning to speak Raptor. I've got two questions about settings.

The first concerns remote start. Currently, the truck starts, no problem. I get in and do the brake-on switch combination to get into normal running mode. At this point, the truck has the steering wheel heat on and the driver's seat heat on high. I'm trying to figure out how to change these default settings.

The second concerns the cruise control. The salesman said you can't set it to be always on. Each time you start the truck, you have to turn the cruise back on. Wondering if anyone has found a way around this situation.

Thanks for the help.

On the seat heaters, when you do a remote start, if it is cold outside the seat heaters and steering wheel heat come on. When it is hot outside the seat coolers turn on.

No car or truck I have had for years allows you to leave the cruise control on all the time. You have to select on. I do not use Forscan, but it might be able to do that.

That explains the remote start situation. I wonder what outside temp Ford considers hot or cold?

Concerning cruise control, I've had the opposite experience. Every vehicle I've ever had with cruise control had an "always on" option - several Chevys and a Honda CRV and Goldwing.

Thanks for your help

There is a setting in config to allow seats and steering to come on based on temp or u can set it to come as like u had it set when last turned off truck.
