Other than for photos does your truck see much time off road or in the desert? or was it built mainly to showcase products and look purrty? Curious if the AMP Research retractable running boards are better or worse than stock for running off road?

AMP/LUND Power Steps are great! BUT they're not going to provide ANY protection from the shit flung up by the front tires. The factory running boards will do a far better job of that than the Power Steps. But the PS are awesome products - just don't bang 'em up on any rocks off road.

I just swapped out the 37" tires for 35" as I felt I needed to do that before I went out to have some fun. Unfortunately, I travel 28 weeks a year and since I bought the truck it has been my busy season, so when I am briefly in town I don't get to go out and play. Hopefully when I am back for more than a week I can do so.
