Don't know if anyone has noticed but several of the dealerships near me are showing Dealer Ordered Raptors if you search dealer inventory on Ford.com and narrow the field by model Raptor. I'm not sure if these were ordered as dealer stock for customers or if the dealerships have them ordered to put on the lot. Anyway, just a heads up in case it's the latter for people that might be looking.

I'm guessing that we should start seeing these things hit dealer lots either this week or next.

I bet the fine print says "Coming soon".

I know they aren't here. Just saying that they have them on order as dealer stock. You can see the window sticker with the build date and most of them were probably built just last week.

I checked last week and saw one with the same build day as mine in the same state. I called them and out of curiosity I asked them how they were going to price it and if they knew when it would be on the lot (didn't tell him I already ordered one). He said sorry it was an order placed for a customer as dealer stock and they only received 1 allocation for the year. Didn't even try pushing me towards another non-raptor F-150 or anything at all.

These are dealer orders. Customer orders won't show in the inventory search since it's not inventory. It's sold. That information usually shows as soon as a dealer ordered allocation is built.

When I was looking for a Edge Sport, I noticed the same issue. My wife's Edge sport showed that the dealer had it in inventory for a week before it actually was at the dealer.

These are still options for folks who haven't ordered one. That being said, considering the ADM most dealers wanted for orders of a truck they don't have, I can't imagine the deals will be any better when they actually have one sitting on the lot.

I actually think it will be worse.

Normally our dealership locator will show both stock and retail ordered units. For some reason the locator is only showing stock ordered raptors.

Vehicles show up on the locator some time close to build time. They will show up as "plant" or "in transit" if they have not arrived at the dealer yet. However if you search the dealers inventory they show in our inventory around the same time they show up on the locator.

I've been checking the locator every couple days and they ALL still show "plant". So it appears none of them have been released for shipping yet. I checked this morning again.
