I talked to the rep and he explained the hydraulic arms allow the tailgate and rear cover to operate independently, but we shall see. I am really liking everything about the cap that I’ve seen, especially the aesthetics and modular construction so I can take it off and easily store it when not in use majority of the time. The ARE and Snugtops just look atrocious to me in comparison, but that is IMO.</p></blockquote><p></p>
