Just want to say Thanks to Brian, Steve, Darryl and EVERYONE at my dealership for delivering on everything they told me. From the beginning, all the way up to my delivery date they were right on! Killer customer service! Truth in what they say, and no matter what the critics said?.... My truck is in my garage! If any of you are fed up with waiting? Give Sandy Springs Ford in Georgia a try! They absolutely deliver!!!
Enjoy:peace:

I'm glad they treated you right. They definitely did not do the same for me.

Well, sorry to hear that. They absolutely treated me right. Who did you wind up dealing with? Have you received your truck yet? I will definitely without a doubt buy my GT500 from them too!!! For years I dealt with Carl Black GMC, but their customer service has gone down the drain! Sometimes the best "deal" does not turn out to be a "deal" at all. There are times I will take Customer Service over a better "deal" any day of the week! This was definitely one of those times.
Take care.

I agree with every word you have said. I would have gladly bought the truck for what they asked if the service was good.

I ended up ordering from a dealer in SoCal Redlands Ford. The internet sales manager, Robyn Ehorn... awesome saleswoman to deal with. I got a good deal and I feel that I have been treated much better than I was at Sandy Springs.

My truck comes in on the week of January 2nd.

I dealt with some guy that didn't even formally introduce himself or ask for any of my information such as name, phone number, etc. I was in the showroom checking out the Boss 302 and the Shelby they had in there. He's standing near the entrance laying up against the wall texting. As I walk up to the Explorer he glances at me and says "you guys need any help?" I tell him I'm looking at the Raptor and was wondering if I could get behind the wheel. He says of course and tells me he'll be right back. After about 10 minutes he comes outside with the keys and shows us a SuperCab Ingot Silver. My dad hammers him with questions about capability, specifications, and so on but none which were answered by him but all by me. Finally, my dad asks him a question that I don't even know and he looks at me and says "you should know that better than me." After a few more moments of checking out the cool stuff of the truck he asks if we want to test drive. Of course I do! I said I wanted to drive the SuperCrew though. So he goes and grabs the keys while chatting with his co-workers and taking his time finally comes out and pulls a Ebony Black off the grass where they parked it. My dad wanted to drive first so he got in there and drove around and then it was my turn. More questions were asked during the drive and still none of which were answered by him.

We get back to the dealer. He asks if we want to buy it today. My dad says I am always willing to buy something if the price is right. He then tells us "well the sticker is so and so and we had to trade a dealer for it so it's actually $*** over sticker." My dad says that it's ridiculous to price a car over sticker. He lectures us about the dealer cost and what not. My dad tells us to get in the car and let's go home. Then he runs out saying he can do like $300 under sticker (which was the price on the dealer site).

The service was OK. Stellar? Far from it. What bothers me most is that he had the guts to try and trick us into buying it for over the asking price. I had seen the website pricing before and I knew something wasn't lining up. Also, their lack of knowledge truly bothers me. I'm perplexed at the fact that they receive the most number of Raptors in the state of GA and still have absolutely 0 knowledge of the stuff they sell.

Maybe you had a better salesman but I don't know. I never asked for his name and he never asked for mine. That's a poor salesman from the start.

Nevertheless, I still cannot wait to meet up with you and maybe, if you allow, join you at your land in North GA to get the trucks dirty!

They treated me like shit. I ended up at Wade Ford... Much better

The sales guy told me there were only a few hundred produced even though they had 5 of them... Made no sense. I quickly corrected him.

The sales guy, during negotiations, told me to sign something binding me to a 50k deal. I was 17 at the time. I let him know that legally I can't sign and be held liable. From there, it went down hill...

They low balled me on my trade in, offering 10k when I actually got 15k from Wade with 0 questions asked.

They wanted 49,999 and would move only to 48,000. I let them know that we are going to be purchasing over 5 more vehicles in the next year and they brushed me off..

Went to Wade, got the truck for 45,000 and we ended up buying probably 8 more company vehicles.

Sucks I guess?

They too lectured me about dealer costs and even if they got the vehicle I was looking at, at Wade it would cost to transfer and the whole 9... Yea, not true. There is a reason they have 9 Raptors at any given time and are trying to get MSRP pricing or above. They truly disgust me and I have 0 idea why anyone would even service there. They are closer to me but I would rather drive to ******* Alabama then go to SS....

BY THE WAY: I will be in Atlanta for over a MONTH starting next weekend. Lets get something together.....

Sorry to hear that you were treated like that! Wow, totally opposite experience for me and my wife. We were given "anything" we wanted to drive while we waited for my truck to arrive. We drove a convertible GT the entire last week before my truck arrived, we even drove a black convertible Shelby GT500 for an entire day! I am no one special, but they treated us like royalty the entire time! Don't remember if I even mentioned that while driving a top of the line Lariat, we were coming back from Highlands NC and hit a deer, it put a huge dent in the front bumper and busted the front left fog light. I notified them the very next morning and they asked me to bring it by to take a look. I offered to notify my insurance company and take care of it. The GM looked at it and said, "Don't worry about it, we will handle it." Needless to say, I was blown away by their kindness!!! This is my point entirely, The customer service "We" have received has been OUTSTANDING! ofcourse, this is just "OUR" experience. I left Carl Black after 16+ years and many cars and trucks, due to terrible customer service in the last several years! Sandy Springs Ford has been an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Just my $.02

You paid full MSRP, right? If so, I have a feeling that has something to do with the exceptional treatment you received. Congrats on your new ride, it looks amazing.

Sandy Springs wouldn't budge on MSRP and wanted to screw me on my trade. Maybe it was coupon week or something. Glad your happy though.:)

Yep, I paid "sticker". I would rather pay a little extra and get my ass kissed every time I walk in the door AND have my dealership right around the corner for any warranty issues that may arise. Everyone is different, opinions are, well....
It is in my garage, and was worth every penny!!!
Your going to love it!:waytogo:
Take care
