San Antonio TX?

Leaving alaska at the end of may and moving back to san Antonio for the next 3 years. Anyone live in that area? Where are good places to take the Raptor out to play?

it's 4ish hours away but texplex does a prerunner day once a month. 12 mile track that is pretty fun. Texas Motorworx sponsors the park and has direct input into the track.

I live just North of SA. Looking myself...as if I ever get enough time off work!

I know the guy who runs (owns?) Texas Raptor Runs is based out of this area as well. Will try to track him down this week at his shop in New Braunfels to see what’s new.

Never been, but Rally Ready Driving School looks pretty neat. Southeast of Austin.

Go hit Padre Island National Seashore, South of Corpus Christi. I took my 14 y.o. son and his buddy, we took turns bombing down the beach up to 80 mph or so. I'm sure it's a memory the boys will have for a lifetime. You can cruise down as far as you like, I think we went 40 miles down before we turned around.

I know my son's buddy won't forget hitting a groove and putting us sideways into a sand dune at high speed, his eyes were big as silver dollars. Otherwise the Raptor was Steady Eddie. Bonus if you bring fishing gear.

Where are you located? I am in Fredericksburg.

I run mine in west TX, a lot of raptor appropriate stuff there, but >7 hours from central TX. Time permitting, I may do some TRR events this year.

I need to hit the national seashore, I've had it recommended to me by a few people now.

I have worked out in Midland/Pecos area for last 20 years. I am usually out there in my Superduty though.

Wife is in the air force. Also we will be in Abilene texas alot since her parents live there. Anything in that area.
