The tune was solid and never had an issue with the truck running, with over 25K miles. That all well and good until you want to add further modifications. I decided to upgrade my turbos, injectors, fuel pump, downpipes, turbo intake pipes, etc. And I wanted a true dyno tune. My tuner and shop highly recommended I get the truck reflashed to stock prior to arrival. I did that, again, at my local Ford dealership. $189. Done, no issues. Next, after my truck was done with the install of the new turbos, etc., they were going to tune it via Cobb Accessport. They could not get the base tune to load. They got on the phone with Roush, after extensive support calls, they were able to load a base tune but could not access the TCM. So off to their local Ford dealer to get the TCM reflashed - after Roush telling me that their tune does not load anything into the TCM, just the ECM. That proved incorrect. My tuner shop got the Raptor back after another reflash, which was successful, yep, another $189. Upon return, the TCM was still locked out. Again, after several calls, they finally had to remove the TCM and send it into Cobb for them to unlock it and basically wipe it clean. Once returned from Cobb, the TCM was good to go and the tune was loaded successfully. So, the Roush tune is a good tune, that comes with a warranty, so long as you don't add any further mods. In your case, I would recommend sending both the TCM and ECM directly to Cobb and have them wipe it clean. That's going to be your best bet, in my opinion.
