I just let them run all winter. I honestly never considered unplugging them. I don't garage the truck. Cold started all winter with remote start 30 min before leaving. Central Ohio so not as harsh as upstate NY where I'm from but we did have lots of negative temps this winter. Truck was flawless. My last truck was a Harley F350 6 liter Deisel tuned heavily. Now THAT bitch was cold blooded!! Plug-in necessary

LOL, Ok
Tying them into a upifter switch is a must do mod. IMO
If next winter is going to be as cold, I'm going to throw the 195 thermostat back in. LOL

Not to thread high jack but it's related.. What bad fan-related behavior have you experienced MTF? Rough cold idle or power loss?? I can't remember if you are tuned heavier than me. I'm at stock pulley but have headers and duals.

All stock! no problems, just took forever to warm up to get heat, LOL

I was a little concerned about the trans cooler preventing the tranny fluid from warming up but there wasn't any issues.

Thanks for all the input guys! The Whipple rep I talked to basically just had no idea on wether or not the whipple set up would bolt on or if it was a complete cluster??
Thanks Stealth1 for your thoughts.....guess I found somewhere else to dump some money!!

I think Stealth1 is right as long as you remove the Roush brackets and replace them with the Whipple HD HE brackets you'll be fine!
All the holes are there on the Raptor no extra drilling is required.

It's some additional hose work and connections you would have play with.

You would have to do that anyway if you want to run both HE's from Roush or even swap out the upgraded larger one.
