I ordered the Roush on ebay for about $260 and had it installed by my dealer for $50. I went with the Roush because I didn't want any warranty issues to stem from the CAI. I know its not likely, but I've had a dealer make some outlandish claims to deny warranty work.

I'm really happy with the intake. It gives the truck a mean growl in the cabin starting at about 3000rpm and up. I ran the truck on the dyno before and will take it back to the same dyno to see if there are any gains. Its hard to measure any noticeable gains being that its a 6000lb truck trying to feel a 5 hp difference. But the sound difference is well worth the money.

Oh, after 3 tanks of gas I have measured an increase in MPG of 0.4. :waytogo:

I've been eyeballing this CAI since I learned about it. I think I'm going to have the dealer add it when my truck comes in. Not having to worry about warranty is a huge plus. :waytogo:

I just installed my Roush CAI.
Installation went without a hitch (unusual for me)

MAF change-out was a breeze. Requires a torx T20 driver. The wiring harness connector disconnected easily (something I'm am not accustomed to).

The box snapped in using the stock clips.

Nice use of 20 minutes.

My dealer's giving me the whole "it might void your warranty" run-around. Ugh. I've read everything about how it "shouldn't" and they have to prove that was the cause, etc etc, but still, it doesn't give me a good feeling. :Grenade:

I called Roush, and they basically said I shouldn't have a problem, but they can't promise anything and it really comes down to the dealer.
