there is absolutely no wind noise from the one i have..............

same wind noise as before, the truck is like a shoebox... you will always get wind resistance noise..

if youre worried about wind noise how about ya put a exhaust and some bigger beefier tires..... then you wont hear anything except AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!

Made me laugh... just add more awesomeness. I might just go for the N-Fab mount. Only concern is whine at highway speed. May I wouldn't hear any either with roof mount. I don't want to add too much awesome sound inside the truck with the little people riding back there. Kids are loud enough now without another excuse lol.

sorry havent measured it yet but just to give you a example

i dit in a 7"2 lot with enough space to rip it downstairs and set off car alarms. running 37's and nfab mount...
at the airport though i scraped the 2metre entrace flag post... do the conversions.

Thanks for the rough estimate. It appears you're scraping at ~6.5 feet. It makes me feel better that you're running 37's. I'm guessing I have only a couple of inches at my company's executive parking garage, which worries me if this mod adds three inches to the truck.

But watch out for angles in the entraces ect. Sometimes when its 6"5 but the incline of the entrance raises your roofs center point. It all depends garage to garage

Agreed. My parking garage has an downward angle of approach. I often look up through my sunroof and watch how close I really am to the cement.

That's why I'm hoping to find out exactly how far this mod sticks out above the roof. I could at least mock up a light bar with some cardboard, then drive through.

My parking garage opening is 6'7" and my house door is about 7'. I might be OK, but the angle of approach might make or break the deal.

Has anyone posted a good install write-up or video?
