Picked up 2 sets of RhinoRamps, got the 16,000GVW (they were on sale for $5 more than the 12,000GVW ones at advance auto parts) Read a bunch of reviews about them sliding. I didn't have any issues, granted that the driveway is course and on a bit of a downhill slant. I imagine that if you give it to much gas and drive the truck up the ramp it may slip a bit. took my foot off the brake and waited for it to climb up a bit then gave it a gental tap.

Great amount of clearance, perfect for getting under the truck!

I am getting some!

Just ordered a set myself. Anyone found a good area to place some jack stands on the front end? I am planning on driving up the ramps and would like to set my jack stands up front for a little more security while Im under the truck for oil changes, etc.
A picture of a suitable area would be awesome if anyone has one.

The stand a will get in the way. There really is no need. They are very tough and I would say are even more secure than jack stands. Are you worried that they will collapse? That's the only way a jack stand will help if the tuck rolls off they are going to be of no use. Once you get them and drive the truck up on them you will see what I'm talking about

Hmm, I have some Rhino ramps that I bought years ago for getting under my VW. They are awesome, but not the beefed up 12,000 GVW - not sure what the "basic" ones are rated to carry?

Would I be an idiot to used them, or should I just get new ones with the higher rating? Ford says the Raptor's curb weight is like 6500 lbs. Since only the front of the truck goes up on them and its weight is displaced across the two ramps my math-fu says upgrading to the 12,000 lb version is way overkill, but I would rather not be crushed to death testing out my figgerin'.
