depends a lot on TRX availability. If TRX is still sporting 700hp, I’d be surprised if they go anything more -proportionally- than a Raptor. IOW, if you can go out and get a new TRX, buying a used RR for stupid money is silly.

Now, if Dodge/Stellantis/Ram/whatever they’re calling themselves drops the axe on the TRX, expect Ford to do the exact same thing with the RR, which they never intended to build or wanted to build until the TRX became a reality.

That would make the few RR in private, non-celebrity collector hands very valuable.

If economy totally tanks they will drop some for a bit but recover and stay or improve like the 2005-06 Ford GT's did.
People buy, speculate then panic. Hoping F-P finally gets issues ironed out. and no further in future issues that crop up.

Anticipation for my R is going up again but even if it's built in June most likely will not see it until August 1st at earliest especially if going by train. Sure hope F-P does something for those of us held in limbo for so long.

Funny the whole "Ford didn't want to build that truck" thought.

I don't know exactly which person "Ford" actually represents in that sentence, but I guarantee every engineer in the company was chomping at the bit to build the Raptor R.

Letting a Ram truck stomp their halo F150 into the ground for 2+ years was not a pleasant experience for them.

If there was a truck they didn't want to build- it's the Lightning. It's compromised in so many ways just to get an electric F150 out the door. The upcoming fully electric F150s will be miles ahead of the Lightning in nearly every aspect of truck perfomance.

Engineers don't run FMC. In fact, they suck hind teát. Wage slaves who do what they're told. Accounting, production, marketing, and sales all pull more weight.

Can you imagine all the cool shit we'd get if engineers actually got to make the decisions? It definitely wouldn't be a sustainable business model though. Your statement is true for all vehicle manufacturers, and pretty much every other large corporate setting.
