HINT, HINT. Can one of the vendors create a removable mudflap (not the ICON mid flaps)? Maybe a modification to the Vortex. It would be nice to have a clean truck on the street and then take them off for offroading. I think there could be some great demand for those on the forum. Anyone else interested?

Off-roading removes mine very easily. Then you just buy a new set and screw them in.

I have to say the mud flaps haven't done as much as I expected. I ripped one off recently so I'm going to pull them all. They just get in the way.

I am actually having a set of Vortex installed for TRR. Bad idea?

I was worried about catching them offroad so I shortened mine. I cut them on a bandsaw and used a heat gun to make the cut smooth. No issues so far offroad and when I splash in mud they seem to keep the fenders clean...joe

You need yo be ruining the PDP flaps. That cheap plastic crap just cracks and brakes away.

You'll be fine at TRR. It's mostly the mudding and winter type of wheeling that is hard on the Vortex flaps.

Keep the brainstorming coming! Maybe a quick release system like a bike wheel or something?

Another vote for the PDP flaps. Well, the rears anyways. They use existing bolts and bolt holes. For the front, I'm using the running board extensions. They look better than most flaps I've seen and no need to make holes in your truck. Haven't had a chance to try them out off road though.

I thought about removable flaps a while back. I wouldn't use them so figured why mess with it. PDP
