Remote start...

Have an interesting story from yesterday. I took the wife and kiddo to the park to have a picnic and let my kid run off some energy. Well we had a great time and as we're leaving the park has become a good bit more crowded with the "after school crowd".

Well as we're walking back to the truck I click the remote start and fire the truck up. As I do, these trashy looking girls behind me yell "Wow! Someone is stuck up! Can't even use the key to turn their truck on!" and some other BS about my truck.

It's definitely the first time I've had a negative reaction regarding my truck, but I honestly couldn't even say anything back because I was laughing to hard at the blatant hate

Pretty sure remote start isn't on the list of things that make a person high class and stuck up, seeing as how it's available for purchase at walmart.

It certainly isn't because of all the Mercedes I have been in none of them had remote start. Then, my girlfriend's Jeep has got it. WTH...

LMAO! That's why I HAD to get one, Jeff! Has nothing to do with the fact it was 15 degrees this morning up here in this part of MI you didn't know existed.

My wife's 2008 Mercedes SLK doesn't have a remote start.

I can honestly say, and this sounds stupid, one of the things I'm most looking forward to about my new Raptor (to be) is that remote start. Denver has some friggen COLD mornings, and I can't park my truck in my garage.

Neither did my dad's S600 but it did have a heated steering wheel

I miss that thing!
