So I rarely post on here, and tried to find the answer through YouTube, owners manual, and others in the community. My wife owns a 2018 F150 Raptor. We have remote start via the key fob and ford pass app. For whatever reason, the remote start stopped working. There is no check engine light on, nothing that pops out that this is coming from anything particular. I used a forscan tool (I’m a novice) and found no errors to correlate with this issue. I don’t want to take it to a dealer (I know I may end up having to) just to throw 150 away and then fix it based off what they say. I just can’t seem to find what the issue is. I have also read the manual, know how to start it via the fob. The ford pass app doesn’t work either. Has anyone ever had this issue? I looked on forums and nothing. I was thinking a sensor of some sort under the hood, but I don’t even know where it’s located. I don’t have any door warnings or hood ajar indicators on either. My wife loves her truck, just wanna get it before the Texas heat beats down on her and the kids and she can’t remote start it to cool down. Any thoughts?
