Installed Smoked LED tail lights and 3rd brake light.

No problems with tail lights except the white LED backup bulbs (separate purchase required) don't seem near as brite as old bulbs. Also broke the connector as they seem to be made out of 3D printer prototype materials that is very brittle. Used zip ties around connectors for easy fix.

3rd brake light is installed but bottom row of three red LEDs do not work and now the front running LED lights blow a 15A fuse. Hooked up all wires somewhat per instructions except different color. I see some posts say not to wire all wires as recon instructs so will try that and see. Also cargo light seem very dim.

I informed recon of my troubles but they have yet to confirm sending me any new product as this one seem defective.

I like the look but not the quality or fit so far.

Will keep in touch.

Recon makes nice looking products, but I dont think I have ever read a thread where their stuff works correctly or doesnt have some kind of QC issue.

Ok I contacted Ryan from RECON and even though I didn't buy it directly from them he sent me out a new one asap. I wired it like they say on the forum or forumz and it works fine now and looks great.

almost forgot to mention that the forth wire White w Blue Stripe should not be wired to anything or you will blow the fuse of the front running led lights and I confirm that the RECON instructions are incorrect.
Also the white cab LEDs of the third brake light are not as brite as expected for LEDs as with the backup White LED bulbs sold for the RECON tail lights.
Overall I am happy with both the smoked third brake light and tail lights looks but the white LEDs could be brighter for LEDs. Thanks RECON for making me a happy customer.

i am not a fan of recon. on my gmc i bought there 3rd brake light and some *** led tail lights at the same time just a couple years ago. the tail lights were great they still work awesome not 1 led out. the recon 3rd brake light has the work light leds half out and i barely ever used them, maybe 25 times for a minute or 2 each time. not impressed at all

RECON informed me that the updated instructions for the Raptor wiring are at the bottom of the online instruction sheet that you can access by selecting Downloads from the RECON web site.
