GEN 2 Reasonable Dealers in Kalifonistan

I've read this forum for over a year and finally joined to ask the experts.

Living in the People's Republic of Kalifornistan is a necessary evil at the moment, and I'm looking for reasonable Ford Dealers.

I ordered a 2017 Raptor in Aug 2016 from the same dealer I have bought a ton of Fords, including a GT350 and Focus RS. They owner sold the truck out from under me for 20k over sticker before they let me know if arrived.

Any dealers who can order a 2018 that make good on their promises?

I know there are a few members who have ordered through different states and had the dealer equip the CA emissions system. Depending on the state I remember someone from California ordered from World Ford in Pensacola and said they got it at MSRP and shipped to them. Hopefully someone closer will have some dealers that are closer to you. Do you only want to buy in California?

I got my truck from the Ford Store Morgan Hill at MSRP and I know a few others have as well. It's worth giving them a call to see what they have in terms of allocations for 2018.

I don't care who or where I order as long as the truck in CA Emissions friendly. I'll review the thread and ping that dealer as well.

Yeah you won't find it in Cali. Like the post above you need to out source from another state and bring it in.

Yeah, good luck with them. I talked to them some weeks back and they said they have a list as long as your arm with hopeful buyers on it. I was told it was unlikely those on the list would get a truck.

Bottom line if you order oos have the dealer you order from check the ca. emssion box on their order, build for you. They can ship it to your local dealer from the factory for a nominal fee. (If you can't find a local MSRP deal.)

I was reading that but hopeful there was a more direct option. Morgan Hill guys were really nice and Jory was helpful, but as you said, they have a huge list.
