Is anyone making or plan on making a REAR winch mount? If you think about it, the best way to get unstuck is to go out the same way you came in. Personally, i would like to see a hidden mount where the cable comes out of the license plate. Ive seen someone remove their spare tire and weld a rail between the frame rails and mount a winch upside down to that. Doesnt seem like something that would be hard to make in production. Is anyone else interested in this and if so, do any of the vendors on here wanna step up and try it out?

Lots of people dont want to lose their spare tire.

my solution to this: buy a tire gate. or throw it in the bed. or if something could be fabricated to work around the spare that'd be even better. not sure exactly how much room is under there. i seen someone else do it on another forum and i thought it was a great idea and just wondered why no one has made a mount like that before

Leave the spare tire. Do a hitch receiver. Throw the ***** in the back of the truck.

Put the WINCH in the front seat.

Whatever you do, I would make it removable. A lot of people don't consider one spare enough when going deep into the dirt. I hear you though, it does make it quite easy to winch yourself, or the guy behind you.

With all the salt they dump on the roads around here I didn't want to keep it exposed to it. With a M8000 and the cradle its not to bad to carry....unless your back is jacked up

Edit: and you only have to buy one winch :peace:

Without a doubt do a receiver hitch style hook up. That way you can put a 2" up front and go either way.
