I might go Icon as I don't want to buy +3SD springs and then regret not getting the HD, at least with Icon, I can pull them out and just replace the one leaf or add the leaf on.

Plan is to get RCI bed rack, with Ikamper mini 2.0 or 3.0 RTT and leaving it on the rear. I already have a rollnlock cover that is ok and not sure the RCI rack will fit on top but it might. That is probably 350-400 constant weight.

I see two people have differing views on Icon, y'all care to weigh in with more detail?
If you are putting all that weight on tha back, you should call Deavers and ask them what would be best. I bet they end up building you a custom set. Don’t ask the internet, ask the experts. No offense to all the internet warriors out there

Never thought about the custom route. Appreciate it!

Jeff and Scott at Deaver are awesome to deal with great guys! I’m running +3HD and my Geiser springs up front and real happy with the set up although I am carrying some weight in the back not as much as some. The only thing I haven’t done which I keep toying with is SVC’s traction bars.

The new rear springs, DEAVER + 4HD, are a huge difference from the original standard. Now I can say that I restored her to the dignity of a truck.

The Deavers collect surface rust as expeditiously as the Ford rear end. By that same token, first thing I did when I got the truck was spray the axle with rustoleum. Did the same with the Deavers and they are about ready for another coat. Folks who live where the roads are salted would probably be MUCH better served with something more substantial like Por or other heavier anti-corrosion products.

How are the deavers and icons holding up against rust? I’ve read where that’s a problem.
Coat them with Amsoil HDMP before putting them one. Touch up as needed depending on location. Stuff works great.

My rear wheel opening heights with OE leafs (used 2020 with 21k miles) were 2” low. Deavers +1 fixed that nicely. I’m not sure if Deavers wear out as fast as OEM leafs? If yes, then the +3” variant would be the choice.

I had the same issue, I have a 2018 with around 50K miles and the rear was sagging so bad.... you set a cup of coffee on the tailgate and you have a Carolina squatted Raptor....... I HATED the nose high look.

I have about 3k miles on the Icon's (at the lowest setting) and the rear sits slightly higher than the front, and I have the Icon collars at max height in the front too....
They have been great and was a noticeable improvement on the rear end feel. I will say I have noticed a little noise every now and then from them, but have not tried to spray them as other members have suggested.

Here is a pic: Icon front collars - max, Icon rear leaf springs - lowest setting, 37 KM3s
