I know there is a ton of info on regular light bars, but has anyone mounted a rear facing light bar or light? I do a lot of towing for my business as well as trailering our race cars. Often we get stuck loading up cars at night. Instead of holding a flashlight or relying on the crappy bed light it would be nice to have a better light shining backwards. I know I can buy most any light out there and mount it backwards but I am trying to avoid drilling into the roof. I use a tonneau cover so I don't think a back rack would work either.

I have a set of Baja Designs Squadron Pros in my bumper... I thought about putting a rear bar on somewhere but..

1) Not sure where
2) I have no more power options. I'm max'd out over 175amps on my distro block :(

Anyway if you find a place to mount some Baja Designs bars, let me know. I'll give you a nice price on the OnX6 or S8 Bars

I had one mounted on the bulkhead, before I put my tool box back on.
Obviously you don’t have to put on this large on, but why not?
The tailgate does cut off some of the light directly behind the truck, but I ave 2 duallys in the bumper for that

I put Rigid flush mount cubes in the rear bumper. Cutting it was a PITA but I like the finished product. I never though about a strip LED like @El Memo but I think that's a great idea and super clean, undercover install.
