Hi I’m new to the forums here and have had my 2012 SVT for just over a month and so far I’ve ran into a few issues one most concerning / annoying are my back doors.
Sometimes one will unlock and open from the outside and other times they won’t at all. There’s even been a few times where only the passenger will unlock. I try lifting the locks on back doors from inside the truck and they don’t budge..
Anyone else have any similar issues? uploaded a few pics of my truck!

yeah, the actuators go bad. most likely dirt, grease, and whatever else can get in, will cause it to sieze up. typically those are the doors used the less and thats where i noticed the problem occurs first. however i have replaced all 4 of mine due to the vibrations and dust from offroading

So the actuators will start to fail slowly and by not unlocking / opening intermittently to not at all? How are replacing the actuators, especially when doors won’t open? And getting the door to open when it won’t unlock? Fronts are easy to open even if locked from inside pull the lever and go backs are not

the rear doors i had to pull the handle pretty hard to get it to open. it did go though. once you get it open, you can cycle the lock a few times to loosen it up, but even though it starts to move smoothly, its not a fix. it will bind again leaving you to do the same thing again.

unless your child safety lock is on, then you have a fun project to remove the door panel to access the locking rod/mechanism

Do you mean pull the handle from the inside even though it’s locked? Could I pull up on the lock itself on the top of the door with something to try and free it up? I feel like dropping it off at the dealership and telling them to fix it and send me the bill !! Child locks are definitely not on
