It's cast to look like rebar. Not actually rebar.
And I was asking if there was some stigma to using actual rebar, not the pictured piece. it’s inexpensive, can be easily bent / formed and even sharpened quite well.

it’s very “red-neck, industrial-chic”.

I ran into that with another one I purchased. It was DOM tubing triangulated and decently built but it interfered with the sensors.

I'd be more afraid I would forget it's there and back into someone else and have 2 damaged vehicles or trip over it and be swearing all day. In any case. it wouldn't fit in my garage with an add on.

Well it's pretty obvious in the camera. As for tripping over it, you get used to it being there. I've run a 3 ball adjustable hitch that sticks out about 12" since 1997. I don't walk right behind any trucks. And in High school, I had a few friends with Stinger exhausts on their VW bugs.... Talk about trip hazard.. LOL
