rear bumper is curved in?

out of curiousity is anyone else gen 3 rear bumper is a bit curve in? ill attach a pic in a few but its pretty much straight via the side and then curve down towards the middle

Side to side curves are easier seen with a side shot or at least a bit of an angle. Up and down curves are best seen from the angle you posted. Not sure what we are looking at here.
