So- These things sound like a Chevy Camaro from the 90's with a straight pipe lol.In the BMW world, We have installed "rasp eliminator" pipes on the S54 M3s to get rid of the "tingy" noise they make. Essentially a resonator.So, what can be done to essentially smooth out the exhaust note to eliminate the "camaro" noise these things make?Drone can be effectively eliminated by using a Helmholtz resonator tuning solution- and I'm wondering if it'll have an affect onto the raspy noise these things produce when the truck has free flowing exhaust. I need to peek under the truck and see if there is a location to put an adjustable helmholtz exhaust resonator in, and tune it effectively to find the happy spot for a mellow tone.
