Raptor with no side steps

Hey everyone.

Dose anyone have the side steps removed from there raptor. I think it may look cool, but im not sure. If you do have Them removed can you post pics. Thanks

Mike, If you want to get the clean look of no running boards but, still want your girlfriend to be able to get in easily, you could get Amp Research PowerSteps.

I personally like having them to protect the paint from rocks and debris being thrown from the tires. As well as acting like rub rails, both BearClaw and I damaged our running boards at HAVOC. i figure. Better to damage them than to damage the rockers.

They also do a good job of catching the rocks that the BFGs pick up and like to throw.

i know they do a great job at protecting the doors thats for sure.

I think the AMPS will get destroyed offorad. but i do love that look

Also, the raptor steps are a good door protectant. Every little bitch driving a Prius around town has no problem slamming their door in to you. Well. Have fun slamming in into a rhino lined running board. Hahahahahaha.
