Raptor "Snow Plow Mode"

Raptor + 4WD HI + Off Road Mode + Advance Trac Sport Mode (single press TSC) = Raptor Snow Plow

I'm in central NJ and we're getting hammered with snow right now. During the last storm a couple weeks ago I only used 4WD and while it handled great, it felt like any other truck with 4WD. I found my Raptor supplement DVD this past weekend and was watching the clips for ***** and giggles and watched the clip on driving in snow and their recommendations. All I can say is, wow! It was like a whole other truck. Being in ORM the power comes on steadily and it stays in a lower gear. When I took my foot off the gas, the engine basically was braking for me, staying in 4th gear and downshifting to 3rd while traveling between 40-50 mph. It was as if the snow wasn't even there.

I love this truck! If only I could attend a SnoBall one of these days I would be in heaven.

ORM with 4X4 High and the diff Locked is awesome- I live in a rural area and the snow drifts are huge

They didn't recommend locking the diff but I'm sure in even deeper snow that would be a good recommendation.

Nice. I'm drooling at the idea. Hell, during the last snow storm I purposely drove down back roads just to have a good time. I happened upon a guy who was stuck in a ditch with his son. No joke, but a Prius pulled up at the same time to ask the guy if he needed assistance. It took everything to keep from laughing. I got out my recovery strap and pulled him & his son out. It was my first vehicle recovery.

God I love this truck!
