Raptor R Eibach Spring kits

Not sure they would need to change a thing from the regular Gen3 37 springs and what is needed for the R. Weight difference is negligible, probably less than weight of which fatazz ( me included ) is driving the truck and how much gas is in it. I was assuming I could use the regular 21-23 springs whenever in the next two years I get my truck.

So from what I was told after the 1st round of testing was done last week, they will be increasing the front springs rate. The rear will not change much other than they will be offering a new HD spring for the rear as an additional option which is what I currently have installed on the R.

They will be bringing my truck back in for a second round of testing with the redeveloped front springs with the additional adjustments made to the front springs which will be in approximately 3 months.

I definitely can see a slight improvement in the ride performance when on the dirt with the front and rear HD springs from stock. I will be continuing to test both on and off-road over the next 3 months to give them my feedback as well.

Do they seem a bit high? Will they compensate for bigger tires? I have always appreciated the low stance of the Raptor, and the ability to run 35s+. No judgment, but the 37s look tiny now.

Please let us know your feed back because I have been debating about running the new Eibach Coils.

The truck doesn’t ride too top heavy if that’s what you’re asking; it definitely provides a bit more ground clearance when going over woops in the dirt.

I believe you will be able to get larger tires on the truck with the lift springs, however you would need to re-gear the rear, and most likely swap out the wheels for a zero offset, and possibly remove the pinch welds to minimize any rubbing in full tuck or full lock.

I’ll be looking into doing this and running 39’s once I move forward with the full build. I however won’t be doing this until Eibach completes all of their testing.

I do agree with you that with the approximate 2.5 lift in the front and 1.5 in the rear, makes the 37’s look a bit small.

One of my recommendations for them is going to be to develop a set that will bring the front up 1.5 to level out the front end, and to develop a HD rear that maintains the stock height but allows you to carry more weight/gear in the rear. This would be an attractive setup in my opinion for those that want to level out the trucks front end, increase off-road ride performance and allow you to carry more weight in the rear without having to raise the truck up too much.

I have been fighting the sagging ass for years with….. raptors. The plus 4 Deaver HD were the Gen 2 solution after trying different setups. I did the 3/4 inch rear plates on my 22 37 pack loaded up for 5 weeks of deer/elk hunting last fall, homeless and lived out of it and that was a waste of time, Sag city still. Looks like this HD solution might be worked for most of us by the time we actually get our trucks between summer to next spring. Thanks for being a Guinea pig.

Ya I think the plus 4 deavers were the solution for most of us back in the Gen 1 and Gen 2. I knew before I took posession of the R when it was scheduled for production at the end of last year that I wanted to come to a solution, so I contacted Eibach a while back to get the ball rolling on this for all of us. Looking forward to finalizing everything in the next few months.

its weird, like the pic they posted on instagram looks perfect, but your pic in the parking lot looks a touch high to me. where the front wheels start to pull in.. ive always loved eibach springs. hopefully they hit the nail on the head again..

may i suggest some rear wheel liners? are there some for Gen3 yet?

Too much lift, less down travel = ****** handling.

I’d do the 1” lift springs and call it a day. Unless you carry a load a lot and then you can lift rear as well.

Springs are still in their first round of development so there will be some adjustments still to be made.

Funny you say that, my Husky liners came in the mail yesterday! Will be installing them intermittently till I get the new fenders and bedsides installed.

Handling was actually really good even with the first set of development springs. Still some adjustments to be made but confident that Eibach will knock it out of the park with the final spring kits.

The leveling springs for just the front will be one of their options for the R.

I have a topper going on my R next week, ARE CX Revo. Considering the rear Eibach springs to help keep the truck at stock height. I wonder how much weight it would take to bring those Eibach rears down to OEM ride height? Couple hundred lbs? More?

The rear springs that are currently installed on my truck are their HD 1.5 springs - they are definitely stiffer than the stock springs.

I believe they said it would be 400lbs to bring back to stock height. I’m told they will also be making a regular non HD rear spring as well, but I’m not sure what those numbers will be at this time, I’m thinking 1/2 or 2/3 of the weight.

All the springs are still in the development phase, but I should know more within the next 6-8 weeks, will keep you posted.
