Very interesting since the mustang was not street legal yet it sold out... that could only mean we have more Starbucks Raptor owners than ppl are willing to admit

Go figure, and every one of those drag cars sold too, but again it wasn't to just the general public, it was people with connections and gobs of Cash and Clout, (RACING TEAMS), most of them are probably sitting in a collection which is not what Ford wanted. Hence the special requirements when buying a Ford GT: not allowed to sell it for so many years, etc. I expect the same conditions for the R, if built. In 2014 Ford gave us the cobra jet mustang , it was a no vin, it was strictly a drag car. Why can’t that do this with a Raptor.
Believe the Ford engineer said 37” early on.Just curious if anyone knows the answer. Figured someone here is on the inside and would know.
Do you think the R will be available in both the 35 and 37, or only the 37?
Yeah that worked out well for for. We want the GT out in the public! Mean while they all sat in garages and were flipped as soon as the contract expired. Anyone who really would have driven them were not approved.Go figure, and every one of those drag cars sold too, but again it wasn't to just the general public, it was people with connections and gobs of Cash and Clout, (RACING TEAMS), most of them are probably sitting in a collection which is not what Ford wanted. Probably will come with a roll bar inside the cab and some better seats, you may get your wish, but with only a $10k increase, I think you need to wake up, lol, I pray I'm wrong and you're right though.Ford - how can we people to really go crazy about the R ? I got it, make it the only way to get black seats with 37s and tack on another 10k while your at.
Many of the Same people who already have a raptor can easily afford another $30,40, hell even $50k more for a truck w/o breaking a sweat if it checks all the boxes. These guys wanting princess pavement queens haven't seen the price of it yet. They won't be able to afford their daily latte's and the mortgage payments on the R, shit, the ADM on one of those could buy you a good used Gen 1 or 2!!
