The car market across the board is softening. Many folk like myself are just done paying inflated prices for less options, so more and more vehicles are sitting on the lots. I can't imagine anyone paying above MSRP on a Raptor unless they buy into the dealer B.S. An R is a little different, but Gen 3 Raptors are literally everywhere. Bronco Raptors are everywhere... well everywhere on dealer lots sitting because not many people want to pay for that garbage. The Ranger Raptors which is basically a new release here in the U.S. are already below MSRP, again unless the dealer gets a sucker.

Bottom line...hold the line and stop buying these at exaggerated prices and prices will come down. I've got my 2021 I picked up new and could care less about trade value since i'm gonna drive it into the ground and most likely pick up an older truck next go around.

Yeah not gonna disagree there let everyone else be the guinea pigs see how that new powertrain ages….same as the Lexus GX550 we were thinking of replacing the wife’s MDX…hearing the quality issues Toyota has had & our vehicles have been paid off for a few years we just did the timing belt on her 19 Acura & rebuilt the suspension on my 20 Rappy. The unknown quality issues on new vehicles & being so accustomed to no payment made the decision to keep em easy lol

Just ordered a 2025 /801a @ MSRP.
Dealer had a few 25’s 802a but I hated they way it handled taking turns on pavement.. the roll would be to uncomfortable for my wife and she drives the Truck a lot when she takes the dogs to the beach. To me the 802 is not worth the extra $.
My 2019 with 89k on it just left us stranded on I95 on nj to Fl trip, melted ignition coils, stuck fuel injectors, needs new differential, after I just had the car completely gone over and paid 3500.00 for other repairs 2 months ago..so trading it in on the 25.

Wow wtf would have caused that to happen? Differential is one thing (how often did you change fluid & was it front or rear?) but ignition coils “melting” & injectors gummed up on a dual DI/port injected engine is very odd. Did you run 87 or 93?

My 2020 has 86k & other than a cracked valve cover that weeper a lil bit & just recently some tapping noise coming from front driver wheel area I am assuming is either a bearing going or something minor w/ IWE system- it’s been flawless. I’ve been on top of fluid changes- T-case & both diffs have been changed 2x & trans fluid 1x, coolant 1x, engine oil ever 5k w/ Amsoil 5w30 signature series….

I changed the oil every 3500 miles.
Have done every single scheduled maintenance on time.. Always 93..
Just had 4000.00 worth of stuff , because I was driving back to our house in Fl… I make the drive from NJ to Fl 2 times a year .. I always over do the maintenance.. Dealer in Maryland replaced the coils.. and it helped a little.. they told be I needed a new engine.. I said BS .. I paid 1400 to have a flat bed take it back to NJ..
My life long ford dealer there said 4 fuel injectors failed… , the differential and the bearings were causing a high pitch hum.. so that was preventative..
I bought it Dec 2018 802a for 73k..
It has 88,000 miles.. had a hood replaced so to a tourist tapping me at 10 mpg while she was on the phone…
So it was time.. it need 5700 more work.. I just can’t keep dumping Monty it and take the chance.. it did have the cam phasers replaced 2x under warranty but that about it until the last 6 months..
I traded it for 30k and ordered a 2025 801a because the 37 ride sways too much and the extract 2” make is harder for my retriever to get in.. so 40k depreciation in 6 1/2 years.. I’m happy…
I will say the market in NJ for 37’s is flooded here.. nobody is going for the tires and seats for 12k.. my dealer said most everyone is looking for the 35..
Sorry.. I rambled..
