No matter how much body work or type of paint, in a few years it'll be rusting again. This will just extend the life of the truck a bit longer...As for weight, it's not even close to 300 lbs. For three (3) coats on my truck, it'll take about 5 gallons. The total shipping weight, including spray gun and cardboard boxes is only 55 lbs...This is the rusty Raptor getting stripped down now...</blockquote>
