Raptor assault is definitely a must if you're new to off-roading. I went with zero experience and gained an incredible amount of knowledge and confidence in myself and my truck

I wish I knew about this when I bought mine in 2014. Is there anything similar offered, or should I just sign up for SnoBall or similar?

I signed up on Ford's website for updates on class availability.

Does Ford send something to owners of new Raptors on their own? How do they know who is eligible for the free class?

I’m attending in August. Driving my Raptor from NY. Moab first. Can’t wait.

Just boarded my return flight after attending Raptor Assault. 100% great experience. Professional atmosphere, great instructors with senses of humor and plenty of seat time.

I was surprised by how many attendees had never been off-road and even more surprised by how a few said they still won’t get off-road.

Hell yes it's worth it! It gave me a whole new baseline of offloading. I would've never tried what they showed me. The day after I got back, I went to Borrego Springs and dove head first into offloading. I'd also mention, I was completely safe! I did what they taught me.
