Any of you guys Running higher percentage ethanol blends than the fuel fill says?

The fact that the 3/4 ton 6.2 is flex fuel makes a person wonder if the raptor fuel system/computer could handle e30.

I currently run straight e85 and have been for almost 2 years and 25k miles. The truck runs excellent. I have the flex fuel tab enabled in the tune. With absolutely no other changes in the tune or anything else the truck runs flawless. Of course I have tuned the truck completely but it's not necessary to run any blend of e85. It is true flex fuel and can be treated as such. The added timing afforded by running ethanol really wakes the truck up.

I've run e-30 in mine from new I don't have a lot of miles on it but it's a 12 with pushing 30000 miles

e-30 is about 92.6 octane so yes I run it in more than my raptor I use it in everything. works great. if you start pushing over e-40 you have to make sure you don't get to lean. studies from local tec school show your safe if you keep it under e-50 with non-flex vehicles.

I've used e-30 and e-40 in the wife's town and country run's best on e-40 power and mpg it has 211*** miles on it. haven't touched it.

e-30 rocks

Max duty cycle I've seen in the injectors is around 76% which will work fin for me as it doesn't sit at high rpms and high throttle % to often. Fuel mileage on e85 is sitting at 12.2 right now all in town. Have seen low 10s driving like an ass hole and mid 13s cruising 65. I have seen best fuel mileage results running about e50 and no real power loss from e85.

I just don't like to push anything over e-50 in a non flex. the worst e-50 will do is lack power and mpg depending on where you live it matters.
