Radiator leak

Has anyone used a stop leak like BARS in their radiator. I have a 2014 Raptor that is leaking from the bottom back driver side fins. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Liquid stop leaks are for beaters, don’t put that in your cooling system. It rarely stops leaks and just ends up clogging the system. Time for a replacement radiator.

Yeah truck isn’t running hot but it’s started to leak more these past couple weeks. Looking at the full race radiator for a replacement. @FordTechOne thanks for the response!

nah, just throw an egg in there. you will be fine.

back in 2019 my radiator was always low on fluid. took me forever to find the leak. but same as yours, on the back side of the radiator. there wasnt enough pressure with the truck off to see the leak, and the radiator fans blew away the fluid so i couldnt find it. i ended up going with an oem replacement. mainly since i just got divorced and was broke, but if an oem radiator lasted me 7 years, might as well go with it again.

Just ordered the Full Race radiator and transmission cooler they had a deal if you got both. Came out cheaper than the Mishimoto I’m replacing.

@KCRaptor14 hey man I’m in the same boat as you with mishimoto. Have what I imagine is a pretty decent leak since I’m running through a bottle of coolant in little more than a week. Have you installed the full race set up yet? Pretty sure I’m going the same route as you. I attached some photos of my leaks

Just got the radiator this week and the transmission cooler should be shipping next week. Hopefully I will get it all installed before the New Year.

Ok sounds good, I’m looking up the Full race combo now. Offroadalliance.com has the full race radiator and trans cooler combo for 860ish. Not too bad consider the mishimoto was 700+ just for the radiator and it barely lasted a year and a half for me
