Radar Detector Mirror Tap

Adding to the knowledge base here....For a 2019 Raptor with 802A package the mirror tap locations on the plug on the back of the mirror are Black for positive 12v and Green for ground.

That's right, the black wire is +12, not a ground.

using the smallest tap i cant get them to slide in...any tips?

They are tough to get in there. I slid them into the bottom of each opening under the pin, using the medium gold/brass mirror taps. I know there are different brands and sizes of mirror taps out there....I have the ones sold by Blendmount. They did fit but were pretty tough to slide in. Once in there though, they aren't going anywhere!

Yes, exactly - though mine is old enough that they no longer will update my V1!
Sucks, but still works great.

My 2020 only has a black plug. It looks just like the pic on post 8.

what mirror taps did you guys use ?

also any one have the brand new valentine 1 version 2? Will it work authentic the old wiring?
