Sooo.... I bought a 2019 Raptor a couple months ago. Aside from taking it home from the dealer, it has done nothing but sit in the garage until today when I took it out for a 50 mile drive. I pushed buttons and played with the display most of the ride and have a question for the collective. I swear that when I was given the "new owner training" at the dealership, I had a portion of the display dedicated to the transmission gear indicator (next to the tach on the left side of the gauge cluster). Well, on my ride today, that part of the display is completely dark. No matter what I did on the config screens, I could not get it to display the gear indicators. Other than that missing bit of information, the truck ran well.

Did I do something with the config screens, or do I have a problem that the dealer needs to attend to?

TIA,

Jim

press the up (+) paddle shifter and the gear display will come back. pressing minus (-) while in D will lock out the higher gears.

Thank you Jaz! Obviously, I have a lot to learn. I do remember reading something about locking out the higher gears, but that was weeks ago... LOL

You can also do it on the console shifter side button right of your leg. That is the one you probably hit by accident. I have done that!
