What do they charge for the bed and tailgate? Mine was the $495.00 option from the dealer, I don`t know if they did it or if it was done at the Ford plant.
$150.00 seems like great deal to have both back well`s done. The Husky liners are about $100.00

Bed + Tailgate in custom color with Premium texture = $820
Wheel wells = $75/per
Skid Plate = Anyone's guess

It's $15 a spray can and i do it myself. Two cans the first time and then usually only one and a bit after that, because I find the first time I did areas that don't get dirty or salted anyway. Its pretty clean under my truck except for the rear springs, rusty son of guns (deavers).

My Deaver’s are a mess too, and I won’t even drive if there’s salt on the road (thankfully I work from home or travel so I can afford to stand firm). After this winter I’m either getting a backup to swap out every few winters, or going to have my local go-to powder them and see if he can do better than the powder they come with.

I got my rear tubs LineX ($400 in the Chiraq burbs). They did a great job and were so careful in the immediate area, but neglected to cover farther away areas and there is over spray on the leaf hangers and some of the exhaust.

Make sure they cover anywhere and everywhere they aren’t spraying.

Don't powder coat your springs, they will crack and it will be a nightmare mess!! Learn to love rust, I have, doesnt affect the performance of them at all. Think I will wire brush them and paint them next spring with rustoleum and see how that works.

Putting liner on your skid plates is a bad idea if you plan on getting into any rocks. Rock would shred up the liner material, like rip off chunks.

The first and last time I bought an aftermarket spray in bed liner, was on a work truck. I was loading some busted up concrete, more like throwing/sliding it into the bed. Took a big old chunk of liner right out. I went back to the liner shop, they said yeah, it'll do that, just bring it back when you get ready to trade it in, we'll re-spray it. I said why did I even waste time getting it sprayed when it was new. lol.

Since then, I've just bought whatever pop in plastic liner is available, they are able to take a hit much better. The Raptor came with the factory spary in liner, it's fine for my needs now, but there is no way it would ever hold up on a real work truck.

Don't powder coat your springs, they will crack and it will be a nightmare mess!! Learn to love rust, I have, doesnt affect the performance of them at all. Think I will wire brush them and paint them next spring with rustoleum and see how that works.

If you break them down and rebuild, isn’t that what Deaver does from the factory?

That's a good question, but springs bend and powder coat doesn't, so I doubt that is what they do. Another member posted about this awhile back. I'm not sure what deaver says they coat them with now, but I would be surprised if its spray on powder. Good question to ask them. Good luck.
