Okay, install took about 10 minutes. 13mm socket to remove 6 bolts & 1/2" hex head for new bolts. A drip of fluid was noticed when installing. I cleaned it up & will keep an eye on it. I ordered candy red instead of ruby red, because their ruby red is not metallic. I think when my truck is clean it will match perfectly. I also paid a few $$ more for the treated bolts because I
often travel the beach. Here are before & after.

You may have already done this, but you can put a dab of sealant on the end of the bolts so they seal in and around the bolt hole as you torque them down. I used Permatex Right Stuff. Looks good by the way! I ended up with the Mag-hytec cover.

Thank you for the suggestion, I did use loctite blue.

Just to clarify, I ONLY have the Mag-hytec. Installation is only slightly more involved and much messier. Haha.

Also, loctite will definitely work as a threadlocker to keep bolts from loosening due to vibration, but a sealant like Permatex Right Stuff is an elastomeric formed-in-place rubber gasket maker which provides a chemical resistant leak barrier. It's more of a precaution though and was also part of the Mag-hytec install instructions even though the new cover uses an installed o-ring. It just happens to also act as a threadlocker.

Looks really good. Just wonder how long you had to wait. I am going on three weeks and no news from PC.

Got an e-mail today from PC saying my order was "complete". Whatever that means. An hour later a box shows up with half spider in it. I guess they must have missed the "we will e-mail you your tracking number" they had in their first e-mail when I purchased. Oh well..............it looks awesome and heavy as hell.
