I know this is an old item, but I just replaced my set of Fox 3.0's with a pair of these progressives on my stock Fox's. What a difference it makes. Very smooth ride. No more expansion joint or broken pavement jitters. I have them set on the bottom perch and it lifted the front approx 1 1/4" over stock. Since Im not a hard core off-roader, I think Im going in the right direction with these.

GEISER BROTHERS OFFROAD PRODUCTS FORD RAPTOR F150 PROGRESSIVE FRONT SPRINGS 2" LIFT

I know a bit pricey, but as long as the goal is obtained, well worth the money.

Anyone with any experience with these? Sounds like a good option but does it affect any of the geometry?? I've heard the various spacers and other lifts put un wanted stress on tie rods and cv shafts???

Is there any added benefit to going this rout vs just mid perch? I mid perched the truck already and couldn't be happier just wondering if these have any added benefits other than just lift? Maybe I'm over thinking it but it seems these would be better you'll get the lift with out the added tension of perching the shock???

The new coils are taller than the stock coil. I would say the new coils have just as much tension on them at bottom perch as the stock coils do at mid perch. But the difference is the stock coil moves at a linear rate whereas the new coils move in a progressive rate giving a more compliant ride.

I measured the spring coil and found that the diameter at the upper end and mid section measures around .850 inches and the bottom end measures around .625 inches. It appears that the upper and mid section is similar to the stock coil in coil diameter and spacing but the bottom end has a smaller coil diameter with more and closer wraps giving it a cushier feeling.

I hopes this makes sense.

******* I took this pic from a post by beadblaster. The coil is actually upside down in this pic but you can see that the upper 3 coils of the new spring are smaller (in diameter) and are wrapped closer together. The rest of the spring is very similar to the stock coil in diameter and wrap.

So compared to the Fox 3.0s on the street these seem to ride better in your opinion?

They ride much better. You're using the stock shock valved towards a softer setting, compared to the 3.0's which are valved much firmer for more aggressive off-road handling. Im not sure what the spring rating is for the progressives but the Fox's are rated at 550 lbs.
