New owner, let the modding begin!

Has anyone run the SPD programmer/tune, COBB, AFE? I prefer an AGGRESSIVE tune, and definitely want transmission tuning(I hear COBB doesn't offer this)... I’m just wondering what tune/tuner/programmer to start with.....?? Goosetuned? MPT? SPD?

I have a LIST of mods to get started. So, I’m guessing I need a platform on which I can easily change up the tune/make add’s/have adjusted, as I make additions.

ADVICE PLEASE!!! AM I MISSING ANYTHING TO START?!

First UP: Quick, easy, and most affordable: INTAKE/Downpipes/Programmer & Tune/Pedal Commander/Turbo adapters...

Best programmer with loaded/box tunes? Best programmer in general?!!? SPD? COBB? AFE? SCT????

Teeeeach me, respected forum!!

There are way more knowledgeable guys in here but I have a Cobb access port with a stage 1 protune from goosetuned. Amazing results and can be retuned as you mod.

Downside of Cobb is no trans tuning at this time so a lot guys have had great results with the MPT 93prx tune which does have tcm tuning.

Forget the pedal commander, the access port can handle throttle sensitivity and from what I understand there are minimal gains to be had from down pipes with the stock turbos. Cobb has a post about it.

From a max power perspective the general concensus is to go with a an upgraded FMIC and either Cobb protune or MPT.

Downpipes - Although they may not provide the biggest power gains initially, they’re a step in the process.. Will add SOME balls-enlarging-sound and a little power/response, but are part of the puzzle... Eventually will be part of a fully upgraded complete system (headers, full exhaust etc..).

Thanks for the 411 on the access port/pedal commander and Cobb/MPT. Been questioning the similarities myself...
