I bought a Ford Racing Touring exhaust from CJ PONY. CJ has been awesome to work eith and they have stood behind my issue quite diligently. I highly recommend them. The first exhaust was installed and the rear tips were not straight. They only go in one way and without cutting the hanger rod and re soldering no way to get this right. CJ had Ford, via Borla, send s replacement rear piece. That went on yesterday. A tad straighter to the truck but the right tip is twisted. They are now offering w completely new unit front to rear with prepaid return shipping.

One other question is has anyone gotten this exhaust and received the round tips as opposed to rounded corner squares? I wanted round tips and that's how it's advertised but apparently Ford and Borla insist they never made a round tip for this exhaust.

Question is has anyone else had this issue? How did you fix it? Any thoughts otherwise?

Yep. I took a crowbar and was able to tweak it to get it closer to level, that flat bar bends a tad. And yes the tips are not round unlike the pictures. My weld broke on the last hanger and Ford Racing replaced the entire tailgate assembly at no charge, even overnighted it.

Here is a pic of mine. These are out of the box, I tweaked the previous ones

I did not want the square tips so I ordered the Borla exhaust system. It is set to be delivered tomorrow and I hope the tips are aligned properly.

Seems like they are built this way and aren't straight. I do have the option of a full refund. Wondering if Borla fits straighter? I find it ironic that Borla makes both with only the logo stamp being different. Wonder why the different quality?

I 'm looking for a set of Ford Racing square tips if you plan in selling them.

They are welded on and would have to be cut off to sell. I might have a set after I make mine into my off-road exhaust.

Welcome to the club. The original FR tips were a little crooked. I called Ford and let them know and they dropped shipped a second tailpipe section that was worse than the first. Pulled off the FR tailpipe section and installed my Borla tailpipe section that was perfectly aligned. Turns out that the Borla tailpipe section measures at 2.5" while the FR is 2.25" expanded to fit the 2.5" FR muffler . Who would of thunk it.
