Do they always draw current if they're wired directly to the battery? And how much? I've got my bedlites hooked to a 5-pin relay (post 30 wired directly to the battery) and my battery will drain if I let it sit longer than about 5 days.

Yes, the bed lights were turned off.

it should only draw current if 85 and 86 have power and ground. if signal is missing on either side, then it will not draw current, unless you have a bad relay.
