Does it matter whether I use the outlet at the front or at the back?

I intend to charge a battery:

Battery:
Li-ION
14.4 volts 6,700 mAh

Charger:
Input: 100-240 0.8A
Output: 16.8 volts 1.5 Amps 25.2 watts

No, I don’t believe they deliver any different power characteristics. IIRC, they top out at 400w.

Sounds fine either way, smurfslayer is correct, the output of the onboard is 400w, so as long as the charger input power demand is that or less, you are fine.
