I've done extensive research on this same conundrum, I can say the ADD FMIC IS CARB legal (it's a rebranded aFe unit but ADD did jump through whatever legal hoops to get it certified). I have yet to find a CARB legal intake however that one isn't as big of a PITA to change back to stock for an inspection and reinstall later.Ultimately I'm looking at moving to Salt Lake or Las Vegas instead, I miss California a lot (mostly scenery and food), but you guys are right, it's pay to play there and I don't feel like playing anymore.
