I'm originally from California and tried living in New York and it was not for me. The winters are awful, no thanks. I also did not think NYC was cheaper than living in So Cal. The grass is not always greener on the other side, sometime you just have to water yours.Amazed on how much people hate California. I see people from all over the country in my line of work and they all seem to like California. I personally do not mind if a bunch of people leave. Less traffic....No place is perfect and California has it's drawbacks like any other place. If you can make it in New York you can make it anywhere.
