Because of my age and health , this will more than likely be The Last Truck i ever buy, so why not pay the price of admission . Time is finite and not something you can buy more of. Hopefully you can take all your experiences and memories with you. My plate will be TRXDOOM

I'd keep my Raptor and then just buy the GT500....you'll never use all of that power in the desert, but you'll definitely win in the d^%$ swinging contest.
Exactly. If the R ends up being the G3 with the gt500 motor in it, I don’t see the point. It needs suspension upgrades to be any faster in the dirt.

I think that is a photo shopped window sticker. No writing along the top. Does not show optional V-8, it would indicate the base would be a V8. No way

And being faster in the dirt is the only reason someone would want one, right?

There are no deserts where a Raptor can be off-roaded at high speeds for thousands of miles from me, and they still sell Raptors like a **** around here.

Nearly all Raptors are NOT off road vehicles. An off road suspension works great on shit roads that make up most of this country. Drive through any urban area and the roads are worse than most off road trails.

That’s because they’ve become a status symbol like everything else unfortunately. But going fast on dirt was, and still is, the primary purpose of the Raptor from an engineering standpoint.

I agree here. A road by my moms house is a big cut through road....residents got pissed and had speed bumps installed. LOL...literally cause me to speed up 10 mph.....because at 45mph in a raptor...speed bumps do not exist.

Meh dirt roads are a sign of millenial and woke peeps wanting the towns ti be where they can go to a chitty craft beer place, an overpriced boootike and a $100 steak place that offers $30 cocktails

Fick those places and people

I can cook so much better on my grill or in my kitchen
