Please have some respect

Please have some respect for those of us that use what little free time we have to log onto the forum and read about our trucks.

I am all for being friends and joking around with our buddies, but spamming dozens of posts affects the whole membership and not just those involved in the joke.

I log in with Tapatalk and go straight to the unread posts or on my computer and click new posts and this morning most of them were due to spam posts related to what is I assume a joke between an admin and another member.

My options are to click/read all the spams to get them off the unread posts list or mark them all read without reading them and possibly miss something that may have been of value as a Raptor owner.

The first message I got as a new member was a list of rules.

5. Please keep all posts related to the original poster's (OPs) thread topic and all threads in appropriate sections. This will help keep the forum better organized, more informative and enjoyable. Break this rule and you WILL be getting a warning. Repeat it, you will be suspended.


Any respect or consideration that could be shown to those of us not involved in the joke would be appreciated. There seems to be a thread dedicated to this so maybe keeping it there would be most appropriate. Piggybacking onto legitimate Raptor discussion seems to be blatantly against the rules and limits others ability to enjoy the forum for its intended purpose.

LOL. Look buddy you need to calm down. Its an "online community" if you go to the local bar... Are you all stiff and say "Dont joke with me, I am here to have a beer and leave"..

he kinda does have a point though.

the champagne room is the bar. where you go to have that beer and joke around.

the rest of the forum is more like college. you go to learn shit, and the odd joke here and there.

it does get out of hand the odd time and ive tried to refrain from making it worse myself.

The problem you're having....I don't see it. Maybe it's because I'm part of the problem sometimes though, lol.

Honestly though, I use the "New Posts" tab all the time and see plenty of informative stuff right along with the joking around threads, you can usually tell right away if there's going to be useful educational info in them or not though.

Honestly I'm not trying to be rude but it seems that your personality fits in over at the Z better. It's all business there, most of us like FRF because it isn't all business there's jokes and friendship.

Honestly though this place would be a ghost town if it wasn't for the banter. I love my truck, but there aren't very many topics to talk about anymore, until something new.

Yeah we really have pretty much worn out most topics besides stuff breaking and people getting their 2013's in, so the witty banter back and forth is what makes this place worth coming back to for a lot of us.

This forum runs the same way that most conversations with my buddies run, a little important stuff mixed with a lot of jabs and jokes. It's more fun that way.
