Sorry if the title is misleading, I had read a "how to" write up on here a while back about how to plastidip coat the rear fender liners. Can someone point me to it? Thanks

Just clean everything, tape off with newspaper, use pre dip spray from dip your car.com. spray evenly and do a good 7 coats for durability. Wait around 15 minutes between coats

I plasti dipped my fenders last summer as i'am not a fan of the line-x textured look and they need to be redone. the outer part of them aren't that bad but the the lip is pretty bad. i will be redoing them with some rattle can satin black but i'am waiting to see what Bushwacker is coming out with hopefully they come out with something soon. they said they where putting them on hold to concentrate on the New GMC junk but really how hard is it to make a couple of squares.

? don't know but i emailed them and they said there in the works but no release date yet.

That's good. They became a supporting vendor then said they didn't have anything that would fit our trucks and that development was a ways off.

my local lineX guy says he "doesn't do fender liners" AKA LAZY

Are you covering a plastic liner? Or the fender well on the bed?

I used professional 3M rubberizer spray from pep boys for $7 a can. They had non-professional but it was not as big of a can and looked like lower quality. Took 2 cans and a few coats per wheel well. Clean/Tape everything off really well. I didn't paint the plastic wheel well liner. Came out looking really good. Also taped off the bump stop and axles from over spray. Hit the brakes with ceramic flat black paint. Didn't want to do too think on the hub since its a contact part. Don't want my lugs loosening up on me because of paint in-between it. I thought about rubberizing the windshield washer resi but the contact is already really close. Don't want the extra thickness to rub off.

(sorry for the bad photo comparison, I did the front one day and the rear at night under work flood lights)
