Pill: Sell truck as is or or take parts off

Merry Christmas everyone
My gen 3 comes in a week I need to sell my gen 2 soon.
I just put the deavers, upper arms and bumper on less than a month ago, should I take those parts off to sell on the side or leave on the truck? What do you think would bring the most value?

Side question, is the g2 and g3 bed the same dimensions? I figured it is so my retrax cover can just switch over but I heard one time that it’s different…

Leave em on. Could help sale value. If your trading it in take it off but if not leave it on.

I took my MX4 bedcover off my gen 2 and put it on the gen 3, no difference. I would pull all the other stuff and sell it.

For what it’s worth, it will not be traded in. Private party sale here in Socal

Take the bed cover if you want it on the Gen 3. Leave the rest to sell private.

All depends on the buyer. If he recognizes the value of the mods and would want to do the same, you should be able to negotiate a price that works for both of you. They add little or no value to an uneducated buyer or someone who will only use it for regular transportation. It also depends if you're doing the work or paying to have it done. Just my .02.

Thanks. I have the stock arms and deavers, that’s an easy driveway swap incase the buyers don’t see value.

If you still have the stock parts and are capable of swapping them out yourself seems like a no brainer to me. You think control arms add $1500 of value with regular front shocks?

Most buyers could care less what aftermarket parts you have on the truck. People don't care and most of the time they prefer stock or maybe aftermarket rims.

I'd take the parts off, sell it and recoup some cash to buy parts for your Gen3.
